Bioinformatics Facility Core

Working to meet the collective needs of SWEHSC researchers, students, and laboratory staff with computational support for management, analysis, display and integration of genomic and proteomics data.
The Bioinformatics Facility Core assists laboratories with expertise and support for the following tasks:
  • sequence alignment
  • statistical analysis of sequences and sequence alignments
  • phylogenetic analysis
  • domain analysis of proteins
  • structure prediction in proteins
  • genome analysis
  • database development
  • data mining of proteomics, molecular and gene expression microarray

The Bioinformatics Facility Core consists of four members, who are housed in the Arizona Cancer Center.
