Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa For Reservations at the Westin La Paloma for the Conference click here The Westin La Paloma is set in the lush, high Sonoran desert and positioned within close proximity of the beautiful Santa Catalina mountains. Giant saguaro cactus, rare native succulents, wild flowers and songbirds are abundant in the area. Enjoy this premier, full-destination resort with breathtaking views, Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, tennis courts, swimming pool and spa facilities. The atmosphere is strictly informal Southwestern. A special rate of $129.00 per night plus tax and resort services fee has been arranged (this cost is not included in the registration fee). Each attendee will be responsible for making his/her own hotel arrangements. Please call 800-937-8461 or 520-742-6000 before December 4, 2005, as rooms will only be held until that date or until the block has been filled. For those able to spend more time in Tucson, the resort will extend the discounted rate for three days prior and three days after the meeting dates based on availability. The Westin La Paloma is located about 20 miles north of the Tucson International Airport. Transportation from the airport via Arizona Stagecoach will cost $32.00 per person one way; cab fares run approximately $35.00 one way. If you would like to do sightseeing in the area or dine in many of the restaurants, a car will be needed. Tucson has very limited public transportation.
