ToxStart: A Hands On Look Into Toxicology
What is ToxStart?
ToxStart is a week long summer camp heldin 2010 at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Arizona for Freshmen and Sophomores in High School. This camp will focus on the study of Trichloroethylene, also known as TCE. During the 5 day camp, students will be experimenting in all subjects they deal with in their high schools, such as Government to Math and Science. Every day students will be lectured by a guest speaker, each day something new and exciting. After these lectures, the students will participate in hands on lessons that will tie in what they just learned by the guest speaker.

How Much is ToxStart?
ToxStart is FREE of cost for the summer program itself. Everyday students will have a lunch hour where they can choose to eat where they want, whether they choose to purchase lunch or bring their own is up to them.
Attendence:
Attendence is extremely important! Because ToxStart is only 5 days we want our students to get the most out of it as they can. If a student misses a day they are far behind the rest of the students which will effect their overall project at the end of the week. If you have other summer plans around these dates, a summer job,
