Because of the failed decommissioning of radar stations in northern Canada built to be an early warning system against possible Russian nuclear threats, nearby areas close to the radar systems were contaminated. PCB’s spread and contaminated local tribes. Blood samples taken from first nation communities of Western James Bay Canada were tested for PCBs.
