Southwest Environmental Health Science Center Volunteer Corps (SWEHSC Volunteer Corps)

Share your love of science by becoming a member of the Southwest Environmental Health Science Center Volunteer Corps (SWEHSC Volunteer Corps). SWEHSC is a collaborative and interdisciplinary research center, which investigates the health effects of environmental agents. The outreach team works to promote environmental health science literacy by serving as a non-biased source of scientific information to the public, providing environmental health educational resources to schools and to the community, and supporting connections between SWEHSC investigators and the community.

Members of the SWEHSC Volunteer Corps work in cooperation with SWEHSC Outreach team members to develop materials and activities for outreach events, conduct demonstrations in classrooms and at community events, and organize outreach events on a wide variety of environmental health topics.
