The
SWEHSC has been a leader in proteomics at the University of Arizona
since 1998 and now, along with the Arizona Cancer Center, the
Arizona Research Labs, the BIO5 Institute and the Department
of Chemistry,
is proud to be a sponsor of the Arizona Proteomics Consortium.
This consortium, which brings together personnel and instrumentation
from the Center of Toxicology, the Department of Chemistry and
the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, offers
the largest and most mature proteomic service in the state, providing
systematic analysis of proteins via state-of-the-art mass spectrometry
that is coupled with innovative bioanalytical techniques and
bioinformatic tools.
The
SWEHSC believes that this unified effort in proteomics will
serve SWEHSC members with an improved level of service, enhanced
expertise and also allow access to improved proteomic capabilities.
New
information on proteomic services and capabilities available
to SWEHSC members can be found at www.arizonaproteomics.org. |
