Marti Lindsey, PhD, Recognized for Excellence in Mentorship

Marti Lindsey, PhD, has been selected by the UA Commission on the Status of Women as the recipient of the 2019 Maria Teresa Velez Outstanding Appointed Professional Mentor Award. This prestigious award honors individuals who have significantly demonstrated an outstanding commitment to mentoring and who are making a difference within The University of Arizona.

“It is clear that Dr. Lindsey is making a difference in mentoring. Nominators spoke highly of her mentoring contributions,” said the co-chairs for the UA Commission on the Status of Women committee.
