Dr. Ashley A. Lowe's research expertise encompasses several major fields, including Dissemination & Implementation (D&I) Science, school-based health, respiratory disease, and health disparities. With a professional background that includes roles as a Research Assistant Professor at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH) and Research Scientist at the Asthma & Airway Disease Research Center (A2DRC), Dr. Lowe has been involved in various multidisciplinary collaborations that aim to improve air quality in schools, reduce exposure to harmful household air pollution in Diné (Navajo) homes, and implementation of evidenced-based programs in K-12 schools. Her contributions extend to community-based research, where she has investigated the environmental concerns on the Navajo Nation and assessed the feasibility of air filtration fans to reduce exposure to harmful PM2.5 in Diné homes. Dr. Lowe is a member of the American Thoracic Society (ATS), American Public Health Association (APHA) and board member of the Arizona Asthma Coalition (AAC).
