Students will learn how to conduct their very own experiment while also understanding the difference between manmade toxins and those that are naturally occurring. As always there is a public health connection included in this activity to showcase how much science can be experienced in their everyday lives.

The lesson concludes with an activity that gives students the chance the implement what they have learned about the scientific method. Each student will have to create a hypothesis regarding what the outcome of each of their radish seeds will be in a week's time, record daily observations, and analysis their results. This fun-filled experiment gives an interactive conclusion to the lesson on toxicology and the scientific method.
