Heat, Health, and Equity: Promising Practices and Tools

When

10 to 11 a.m., May 17, 2024

Extreme heat does not affect all communities in the same way. This webinar will highlight promising practices being used to ensure the well-being of those disproportionately affected in HHS Regions 9 (AZ, CA, HI, NV, American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau, and 159 Federally-recognized Tribes) and 10 (AK, ID, OR, WA, and 272 Federally-recognized Tribes). Participants will also learn about new tools that can be used to plan and prepare for the upcoming heat season in ways that advance equity and protect those most vulnerable.
