Rick G. Schnellmann, PhD, was named the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System’s Investigator of the Year 2024.

The college’s CoVHORT research study recently celebrated its 5-year anniversary, a major milestone. The first CoVHORT survey went out on May 28, 2020, and since then more than 9,000 Arizonans have signed up to participate in the study! With a rich stock of data from the large cohort of participants, the CoVHORT team now guides vital research on Long COVID symptoms and treatments.
